Better Energy Homes scheme is a grant offered to home owners for insulation and heating system upgrades. The grant is available to all owners of homes built before 2006. In March 2015 the grant was increased and additional bonus payments are now offered on the scheme. Previous applicants can now get additional works carried out.
Energy Efficient Homes has insulated over 1700 homes over the last 4 years alone, and the Better energy home scheme has issued grants to over 160,000 homes across Ireland.
